🟢The Young Bled Strategic Forum is a unique meeting place for diverse young leaders, offering them a platform to share their visions, exchange ideas and network with other prominent young politicians, activists, diplomats and academic from all over the world. Each year, it attracts a group of young leaders and engages them in interactive discussions on pressing challenges and addresses inventive approaches to developing creative solutions. As a generator of ideas, the Young Bled Strategic Forum has become an engine of change.

❗The Young Bled Strategic Forum model is growing and changing every year. Topics change and ideas evolve, but the main objectives of the Young Bled Strategic Forum are clear. Young Bled Strategic Forum aims to bring together the most prominent young leaders from Slovenia and abroad and offer them a creative atmosphere for discussion and networking.

🙌The main theme of the 2024 edition of the Young Bled Strategic Forum (working title: Restoring Common Ground) is a reference to the title of the 2024 edition of the Bled Strategic Forum international conference (Parallel Realities). In essence, at this year’s Young Bled Strategic Forum, participants will be looking for ways to make our realities converge once again so that a space for positive social action can re-emerge. Field of profession: whoever committed to bringing positive change within society, ranging from students and young academics, NGO representatives and civil society members (active citizens on the local, national and international level), activists, politicians, engineers, young members of public administration and governmental institutions, athletes, members of international organisations, entrepreneurs, and all other inspiring young future leaders.

💰🎉If you are at least 18 years old on 20 July 2024 and working, volunteering or studying in the area of HIV, you are welcome to apply for a scholarship for AIDS 2024, the 25th International AIDS Conference, which takes place in Munich, Germany, and virtually from 22 to 26 July. ❗The scholarship also supports attendance of the AIDS 2024 pre-conferences, which take place on 20 and 21 July in the conference venue.

🟢The following candidates will be given priority:👇

👉Abstract presenters; workshop facilitators and co-facilitators; and Global Village organizers and co-organizers whose submission has been selected for the conference

👉Applicants from low-income and middle-income countries

👉Applicants who are part of key populations or people living with HIV

👉Young people and junior investigators below the age of 35

👉Applicants who did not previously receive a scholarship for an International AIDS Conference.

📌Every three years, young talented people from all over the world are gathered to work together, shaping, and sharing youth perspectives for a more peaceful, sustainable and water-secure future. This is an opportunity to renew the membership of the network, elect new representatives and develop an action plan for the following three years.

🟢The General Assembly of the World Youth Parliament for Water is an opportunity to develop advocacy messages, concrete initiatives and synergies with other members, to work with experts, to discover different cultures and to develop new friendships.

❗The past editions of the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) General Assembly (2012, 2015, 2018 & 2022) were held during the World Water Forum and allowed for hundreds of youth from all over the world to expand their knowledge regarding water, develop essential skills, grow their network and advocate for proper youth representation.

🟢Under the umbrella of the Forum’s theme "Water for Shared Prosperity", the participants will have the opportunity to:👇

📌The International Renewable Energy Agency’s (IRENA) fifth IRENA Youth Forum: The New Generation of Decision Makers will convene in April 2024 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at the margins of the fourteenth session of the IRENA Assembly (15-18 April 2024). The Assembly is the Agency’s ultimate decision-making authority where Heads of State/Government, Ministers and global stakeholders meet to discuss and advance the energy transition.

The 2024 IRENA Youth Forum will strengthen youth networks and connect them with global thought leaders, government representatives, and IRENA experts. The Forum will create a space for young people to contribute to the Agency’s mission of accelerating renewable energy deployment to achieve climate objectives and advance the sustainable development agenda.

Through a series of interactive sessions, including open dialogues and thematic workshops, participants will be able to add a youth perspective to the global energy discourse.

💰 Upon selection, full sponsorship, including travel and accommodations, will be provided for up to 35 participants.
